“The Day I Met The King.”

My name is Wayne Wright and I’m a producer for Made in Manchester Productions.

We’re making three radio programmes for the BBC radio network called “The Day I Met The King.”

We’d love to find and chat with HMS Bronington crew members who served with the then, Prince of Wales in the 1970’s

These are going to be a sequence of stories from people who have met King Charles at different stages of his life – during his time as Prince of Wales and as King – the programmes are positive, uplifting, and celebratory in tone.

We usually do this chat over Zoom – it will be relaxed and informal – and we’d be looking for 20 minutes of your time.
